Any person interested in employment with the City of Texas City must complete an application from the City of Texas City. 2. Applications are available on-line or at the Human Resources Department located at City Hall, 1801 - 9th Avenue North, Texas City. Applications of qualified applicants are transmitted to the departments for selection. 3. Appointment is subject to verification of references, pre-employment drug screen, background check and pre-employment physical. 4. All certifications will be verified. All vacant positions are posted at City Hall on the first floor outside the HR Department. All positions are posted until filled.
